Design Process
Consultation
During this initial meeting, Gary will determine what is necessary to create the outdoor environment desired by the client. The consultation period is usually where ideas for the preliminary plan are developed.
Design
After the consultation, Gary will develop a preliminary plan or photo simulations. A second meeting will be scheduled to discuss design concepts and head toward a complete set of landscape plans.
Planning and Implementation
With a complete set of plans (which normally includes a site and planting plan, simulations, and irrigation plan, lighting and general specifications), Gary and the client will strategize to implement the plans. Occassionally, additional drawings or written specifications are necessary.
Objectives
Every project -- from the smallest courtyard to the largest residence; from public to commercial applications -- has a creative objective. Gary believes each project should reflect the personality of the homeowner or the community in which it resides. The objective of every project is to create an enjoyable and sustainable landscape that will last many years into the future.
